I spent an hour or more today, trying to use Blizzard’s patch downloader to upgrade to v3.1 before finally just downloading the patch elsewhere. Now, some six hours after the servers were supposed to be up, I sit, unable to even log in while Blizz futzes with trying to cope with the massive server crunch. Patch 3.1 will, so far at least, go down as one of WoW’s biggest blunders to date. C’mon, Blizzard! Fix your product!
